If your interested I will post up actual pics of the winch.

It is a 24V winch not a 12v. It come with roler fairlead, winch cable and hook. The cable is weather but in decent shape. Everything works great.

250 takes it home.

what is the main difference between 12 and 34? why did they do that? and how hard is it to hook up? relays and such?

It came off of a 24v system... i.e. a diesel. I figure someone out there with a diesel could use a winch for their rig. It could be done If you set up a dual battery setup you could use the 24v winch. But you would have to install a parallel switch system. There is a lot involve to do it right. So, I'll sell it and get a 12v winch for the jeep.

does warn make a 12v motor that will fit it?

why not have someplace like Smith auto electric or Picatti's re-wind it for 12v?

I wouldn't go to smith auto if it were the last place on the planet :angry5: . Yakima battery has always been good to me. I would expect it would be cheaper to replace the motor than we wind it :dontknow:

you might even be able to sell the 24volt motor , I did some searching and found a lot of people with diesels running 24 volt systems, and your winch starts from $900 to over $1000 new
